About me
I work with individuals facing a range of emotional and psychological challenges, including mood difficulties, trauma and adverse life experiences, anxiety-related conditions, and interpersonal struggles. I have particular experience in supporting people with complex care needs, as well as those navigating immigration-related stress and cross-cultural conflicts.
With over 10 years of experience working within both the NHS and mental health charities, I bring a broad understanding of the different needs people have and the wider systems that affect their lives.
My approach
My approach is grounded in creating a safe, respectful, and thoughtful therapeutic environment. I work with sensitivity to each person's unique history and cultural context, aiming to foster a space where difficult thoughts and feelings can be explored at your own pace.
As a psychodynamic psychotherapist, I draw on an understanding of how early experiences and relationships shape our inner world. I pay close attention to unconscious processes—thoughts, feelings, and patterns that may lie just outside of awareness yet influence how we experience ourselves and relate to others. Developing insight into these deeper dynamics can strengthen our ability to face present-day challenges with clarity and resilience.
Therapy works best when it happens regularly and consistently—at the same time and in the same place each week. I ask for a weekly commitment to support an effective therapeutic process. We begin with a consultation, typically held over one or two appointments, to discuss your current situation, explore working together, and address any questions you may have.
Fees
Standard fee per session: £100
Fees may vary depending on individual circumstances. The fee for ongoing sessions is agreed after the initial consultation once we decide to proceed with therapy. Once a regular session time is agreed, that time is reserved for you each week. Cancellations and missed sessions are charged in full.
